Tough Questions About the Bible
Tough Questions about the Bible, written by Joel R. Beeke, is, as the name implies, a book of
questions people might ask about the Bible.
There are 68 questions total. The author divides up into
nine different sections. With one exception, the author provides at least one Bible
reference for each answer given.
Some of the questions were: How do we know that God is
alive?; What is the Fall of Man?; and What does it mean to fear the Lord?
What I
Like: I think this book would make a good study guide for someone interested in
learning more about the Bible.
What I
Dislike: One of the questions (which is actually a two-part question) that was
included was: Do ministers have another job during the week? If not, what do
they do with their time? This is not
really about the Bible and its truths; it seemed out of place in this book.
Overall
Rating: Good.
Age
Appeal: Ages 12 and up.
