The NKJV Precious Moments Collector Edition Bible is a wonderful resource for a young child. Consider it as a gift for the children in your life when they learn to read!
Throughout the Bible is full color Precious Moments artwork, drawn by Samuel Butcher. At the beginning of the Bible, the thought processes behind the drawings are explained. There are thought questions that you can go over with your child. Sprinkled throughout the text are tiny pictures, also drawn in the beloved Precious Moments style.
Your children will also find little devotional "helps" as they read through this Bible. For example: Psalm 139:1-3 is shaded gray. This signals a child to look at the bottom of the page where there is a little paragraph entitled, "Nobody Understands Me!"

What I Like: I like pretty much everything about this Bible.
What I Dislike: The only thing I have to mention is that I noticed the cover tended to get a little smudgy. It might be worthwhile to purchase a Bible cover.
